I’m Baaaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!

 I know what you’re going to say… ‘Kate, you promised to update your blog more often’.  

Yes, I promised and I did want to. I even needed to… but I just kept delaying learning how to update my website because it all seems so complicated. Remember, I’m old. I can barely use my phone… 

But I had a great teacher this morning who talked me through everything I needed to do. And I thank David for being so patient with me. I told him it must feel like he’s trying to teach a 3 year old how to drive a car… or was it fly an airplane? It was something like that. 

Still, I promised I would learn how to do this. So if I mess up, please bear with me. 

OK, since my last update, my puppies have grown into MONSTER DOGS – or the ‘Ponies’, as we call them.  But I couldn’t be happier with them.  

Note: They are on the chairs because they fear there are carpet snakes on the floor…

 And I’ve finished writing, Valkyrie 2 – The RUNAWAY. I really had so much fun writing this one. I kept going crazier and crazier with ideas.  EPIC is probably too subtle a word for this one.  I will tell you this, it’s got Valkyries (of course it’s got Valkyries – it should, they are in the title of the book!) and Loki, Odin and Thor, but also, Frost Giants, Trolls, Dwarfs and many of Norse monsters.

It comes out in May this year, and here is the cover! 

 

Now, I’ve got more news if you’re still reading this…

In March this year, I am going on my first American book tour!  YIPPEEEEEE!

 I will be in New York, Boston and maybe, Indianapolis.  I can’t wait. I haven’t been back to New York for ages and I haven’t been to Boston since I was a kid. I hope I get a chance to meet some Pegasus fans there!

 

But I’m not going alone. 4 monsters are coming with me! It’s going to be insane and I’m sure New York will never be the same again. 

 

And there is even BIGGER news I’ve got, but I can’t tell you yet…. All I will say is the ink isn’t dry yet. But when it is, I promise to make a big announcement!!!! Boy oh boy, is it BIG! I do I want to tell you right now, but I can’t. Even though it’s on the tip of my tongue.

So you’ll have to….WATCH THIS SPACE!
