My 9 yr old loves this series. She has read them over and over, probably about 4 times through the sequence so far…highly recommended.
This installment caused a few tears at some of the sad bits, but once finished she is all smiles again and can’t wait for Kate O’Hearn to write the next one.
This is the fourth book in the Pegasus Series. I absolutely LOVED it!
Emily is The Flame of Olympus. She thought she was an ordinary girl, but she is very special. She is a fantastic character, who has faced many challenges in the previous books and triumphed. When her beloved Olympians become ill, she embarks on her biggest adventure yet.
I have a soft spot for Emily and Pegasus, and when I heard that this book was due for release, I immediately pre-ordered it! This is a fantastic adventure, filled with danger and amazing twists and surprises. In this story, we are taken on an amazing journey through time and space. We get to meet the Titans as they battle with the Olympians in ancient Greece. The action is intense, and we meet a lot of new characters including Stella and Vulcan. Emily makes a shocking discovery in this story that changes her life once again. I found myself getting rather emotional in places, as there are some very sad scenes, but there is also a few witty scenes that had me smiling. I struggled to put this book down, and was disgruntled when I had to! I love the imagery created by Kate O’Hearn, as it felt like I was actually there.
Kate O’Hearn has created a world for Pegasus and the other Olympians that is completely believable. I love her writing style, which is very descriptive and flows beautifully. She is now one of my favourite authors. I love this series, and I hope there are more adventures to come! I highly recommend this book, and series, to children of 11+ and adults alike, as this is one of the most exciting stories I have read in a long time. – Lynn Worton (WaAR)
I love this series so much it is absolutely amazing. I myself am a big fan of fantasy series that certain things may exist such as Roman/Greek Gods or Pegasus. This book was such an amazing read I could hardly put down. This has to be one of the best books I have read in a while. I can’t wait to see if another book is going to come out.
This is an awesome book I’d recommend it to anyone who loves mythology and adventure. The Pegasus series would make a really good film. I can’t wait until the next one comes out!!! I would recommend it to anyone my age or over (I’m 11years old!) Does anyone know Kate O’Hearn’s e-mail because I really want to talk to her!!!!! The BEST books I’ve ever read.
Thank you Kate O’Hearn!!!!!!:)
I really like this book because of how Kate reflects the old Greek myths into the modern world. The story is full of suspense and I even understood the book even though I didn’t read the book before it. I never once thought of abandoning the book because it was so good. This book deserved five stars.
This is a wonderful series. Pegasus has to be a favorite myth for most. This is such a great close up adventure with Pegasus and mortals trying to save Olympus. Villain monsters are terrifying. Highly recommended.
This book is based Roman myths and legends. It is the continuation of Pegasus and the New Olympians. This book talks about a young girl who had her life changed since the Pegasus came into her life. She is faced with a great challenge and is forced to meddle with time. Reading this book you will see how Emily, Joel, Paelen, Pegasus and new characters Riza, Brue and Stella are facing the destruction of Olympus and are forced to go back in time to save it.
I love and I praise this book and the series for how well written it was! I’m super glad that I found the first book in my school’s book fair. I’m really sad that no one else in my country can read the full series because they don’t fully come out until 2017! But I’m glad that my dad bought the second book off of eBay and when my mom visited the U.K. and bought me the rest of the series. I really hope that Kate O’Hearn writes a another book in this series because I want to know more and I also want to know who Emily chooses as her true love! I also think that there should be a movie based off of the books, because that will be the best thing in the world. Thank you Kate O’Hearn I was in awe reading this series please, please write another!
It was a good idea to bring Emily to the past to destroy the weapon that is killing the Olympians and fight the Titan war. The idea of bring a mortal was good too. I thought that it was sad to make Emily’s friends forget their memory. If there is an other book from the Pegasus series I will gladly read it.
